This leading enterprise, at the intersection of business and technology, is dedicated to helping clients enhance performance and create sustainable value for stakeholders.

Your job

  • You will lead GBS / GCC strategy and setup initiatives by evaluating operating model options such as centralized, federated and hybrid models, and developing build-operate setup models, location and sourcing strategies, GBS guiding principles and L0–L5 process taxonomies for new and scaling shared services.
  • Design integrated operating models for GBS / GCC setups, including organizational structure options, service delivery models, transition planning, knowledge-transfer approaches and stabilization considerations, working independently across the engagement lifecycle.
  • Manage the design, documentation and continuous improvement of the Operating Model by analyzing processes, roles, governance structures and performance metrics to enable efficient and sustainable service delivery.
  • You will lead cost analysis and detailed cost model development covering setup costs, run-rate costs and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) across GBS and transformation scenarios, while developing value realization frameworks to track benefits and savings against investments over time.
  • You will incorporate productivity, quality and strategic value levers into value realization frameworks and translate transformation initiatives into measurable financial and operational outcomes.
  • Design organization structures for GBS / SSC and retained teams, covering roles, spans and layers, reporting lines and FTE sizing methodologies to support effective service delivery.
  • Lead SSC location assessment and selection studies by evaluating cost, talent availability, risk and scalability considerations to recommend suitable delivery locations for shared services.
  • You will design KPI and SLA frameworks for GBS performance management, covering operational, financial, service and experience metrics, and develop dashboards and reporting cadences aligned with governance structures.
  • You will conduct structured capability and process maturity assessments against leading-practice benchmarks and translate assessment findings into prioritized improvement roadmaps with clear ownership, timelines and measurable outcomes.
  • You will design governance, RACI and interaction models, including governance councils, decision rights, escalation paths and RACI matrices, defining roles and collaboration patterns between GBS, retained organizations, business units and third-party providers.

Capabilities

  • You must have working knowledge of at least 2–3 key areas, including GBS / GCC / SSC setup, operating model design, sourcing and location strategy, organization design and sizing, process maturity assessment, and governance and interaction model design.
  • You should be able to build and interpret cost models, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses and value realization frameworks in the context of GBS and shared services transformation.
  • Experience in designing KPI and SLA frameworks and performance measurement structures, with the ability to translate strategic objectives into measurable operational metrics.
  • You should have familiarity with maturity assessment methodologies, including capability, process and operating-model maturity assessments, and the ability to develop actionable improvement roadmaps based on assessment findings.
  • Familiarity with core functional processes and process taxonomy frameworks, including the L0–L5 process hierarchy, and the ability to apply these frameworks in GBS and functional transformation initiatives.
