Your job

  • You will be able to discuss in depth both the design and your significant contributions to one or more projects.
  • You need to have a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals: data structure, algorithm, distributed system design, database, and design patterns.
  • Your coding skills with Ruby on Rails language along with expertise in technologies like Delayed Jobs and PouchDB.
  • If you have Java and related technology exposure & Transportation, supply chain and logistics domain exposure is a plus.
  • It is preferred that you have worked on React screens, using Javascript & Ajax for dynamic and interactive user interfaces.
  • REST, JavaScript/Typescript, MySql, MongoDB, ReactJS, Azure, machine learning, geolocation and mapping API.

Capabilities

  • You should have experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
  • Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Good understanding of server-side templating languages {{such as Liquid, Slim, etc depending on your technology stack}}
  • Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors {{such as Sass, based on project requirements}}
  • Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
  • A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code
