Your job
- You will be responsible for developing Data Strategy: Design and execute data strategies aligned with business objectives
- Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact between stakeholders and data teams, translating business needs into actionable data solutions
- Asset Management: Oversee the management and optimization of financial assets, including portfolios, transactions, and investment strategies, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business goals
- Support Decision-Making: Provide actionable insights and track key metrics to guide informed business decisions
- SQL & Data Analysis: Utilize SQL to query and manipulate data, ensuring accuracy for analysis and reporting purposes
- Data Visualization: Develop dashboards and visual reports to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with various departments to integrate data-driven insights into business operations
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead data strategy initiatives and mentor junior team members, promoting best practices
- Project Management: Plan, manage, and deliver data-related projects within defined scope and deadlines
- Compliance & Optimization: Ensure compliance with legal standards and continuously optimize data strategies based on performance metrics
Capabilities
- You should have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in data strategy, analytics, or a related field, with significant exposure to the financial services or investment banking sectors
- Extensive experience in data management, reporting, and visualization to support business decisions
- Proven expertise in managing financial data assets and optimizing the use of data resources to meet business objectives
- Hands-on experience with SQL for complex data querying and analysis
- Strong background in stakeholder management with the ability to influence decision-making at all levels
- Experience translating business needs into actionable data-driven strategies and reports
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, or related fields
- Additional certifications in Data Management, Financial Services, or Project Management (e.g., CFA, PMP, or similar certifications) are a plus
